Cavs have a lot of directions they can go in. LeBron apparently is in win now mode, so if Cavs really want to get him to come back they should probably trade for Love and hire a semi competent head coach. I would not do the deal on Love though until I have reassurance he will sign a long term deal. Will be interesting to see, they should be good enough now to compete in the East.

Read this article about the Bucks owner's daughter's twitter account. Bunch of horny men in this world.

I'd probably go get Mark Jackson if I were the Cavs.
Are there any rumors about where Jackson might land? |

The Cavs drafted Kyrie Irving (who the Wolves could sure ****ing use right now) and the Wolves got raped by Derrick Williams. If Kyrie were playing with Love, Pek, and Kevin Martin, the Wolves are in the playoffs this year and maybe Love wants to stay in Minnesota as long as the team paid him well. |
Im really excited about Orlando getting Exum if Embiid is gone. He reminds me of Penny. Really raw though.

Why would anybody take a coaching job over a cushy spot in the studio?
People want to challenge themselves. I get that. But what's the real success percentage of players who enter the coaching ranks straight from being a player, with no experience at all being an assistant on a staff or working with a college team? It's gotta be really low. I can't think of many players who just decided to start coaching one day who have had real success. Larry Bird had one or two good Pacers teams in the late 90s but then left. That's about it. |
Also why isn't anybody asking Scott Skiles? In a market desperate for good coaches, Skiles' resume is hardly chopped liver. If you give him more than crap to work with on a team, he seems to be able to win games.

Sounds like Embiid is their favorite right now, and they are "mining the college ranks for a HC"

all the crappy teams are waiting for Scotty Brooks to be fired!

Most of these are light jokes, but there are some legit deals I would gladly take.
Of course, much of it depends if Kevin wants to even play for the team he gets traded to. Hopefully he's not a huge diva about only specific places and can see the value in a couple of these high lottery pick teams that he could go to. http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/pos...ex_cid=espnsoc Particular deals I like with teams that Love has supposedly "signed off" on: Bulls receive: Kevin Love Wolves receive: Carlos Boozer, Jimmy Butler, the rights to Nikola Mirotic, Ronnie Brewer, Nos. 16 and 19 picks in 2014 Lakers receive: Kevin Love Wolves receive: Steve Nash, Robert Sacre, Nick Young, MarShon Brooks, No. 7 pick in 2014, future first-round pick, Warriors receive: Kevin Love, Kevin Martin Wolves receive: David Lee, Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson, right to swap picks in 2015 and 2016 Also, yes, I know that these long lists rarely happen in the NBA- we'd definitely be looking at a 3-team trade probably. |
