This is my current dumbell workout. And wow, hamstrings and thighs are on fire today! Will be glad when my body adapts to the workout. The first week is always brutal, and I prob overdid it a bit being that I hadn't worked out in a year.

I had best choice apple cinnamon oatmeal this morning. Only 150 calories a bag!

Mix a bag of Cinnamon Roll and Brown Sugar Oatmeal together. It's amazing.

I think I want to get in on this. I especially like the end of the year goal thing. I have always been able to lose weight, but keeping it off is the challenge. So I am at 300 and want to be at 225 at the end of the year. Boom, let's do it.

Frosty 01-07-2015 10:37 AM

My starting weight is 218. Ate way too much junk over the holidays.

First mini-goal is get down to 200 lbs so more of my winter clothes fit. :#

The first 3 days of weight loss is so encouraging, even though it's only water & poop.

CaliforniaChief 01-07-2015 02:16 PM

My biggest short-term accomplishment was actually losing weight through the holidays. Starting at Thanksgiving, I came in at 281...and this morning weighed in at 271 and 12 oz.

Oh yeah, and Christmas and all the parties were delightful. I didn't feel at all deprived.

Bottom line, there are absolutely no excuses. None.

I lost weight through the holidays last year but I found it again this year. :doh!:

True story...I know how to lose weight, and how to gain it.

I just know that I can never be complacent about this, even when I hit the low 200's and am doing all kinds of physical things. It's almost like alcoholism to me, I've got to be on top of this for the rest of my life.

But it's all good, I'm really enjoying life. I worry about the people who are losing weight but are miserable because they hate what they're eating/doing.

Just at a snickers and a 24 oz Orange crush. all good though when you can have 1,800 cals a day!

In. 245....goal, 200. Last time I lose 72 lbs, but put 25 back.

Yeah. Unfortunately, you/we will never be able to go back to freely eating. That's how we got fat to begin with so is a sure fire recipe to regaining.
