This team should win this tournament

Not in my opinion. That '88 team had 11 losses. We've had several teams better than them.

That would be fun, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Still have another game this weekend.

Not to get overconfident and all, but it will probably be a nationally televised practice session to prepare for North Carolina. The winner of that game will probably then take a victory lap 2 days later. (unless Texas makes it all the way as well)

Davidson has a nice little 3-point shooter? Cool. Its not like Kansas hasnt been en fuego from the arc this year or anything.

Are you kidding me? We've had a ton of teams better than the '88 team. The big 12 was real strong in '88 don't get me wrong. but we have had AT LEAST 3-4 teams better than the '88 team. You have to remember you have to have some luck and win six straight games in the tournament. Just because you win it doesn't mean you are the best team, just means you deserved it.

02, 03, 96 and 97 teams were all better.

I agree, those were good teams, I just don't remember any of them winning a national championship.

How were/are they better?

Skip probably attended games Phog coached. ;)

Ya know what is funny? Except for Roy's first year when we were on probation. The most losses KU has ever had is when we last won the national championship in '88. So the key to Kansas success is losing in the regular season. I guess that means we are screwed this year haha ;)
