ummm...I'm curious...is it THAT easy to find information about someone? Like what about people on here? I've often wondered how easy it would be to link anyone on here back to their RL?

That’s really f* up, and completely out of line by someone on here. The person in question should step up and apologize. I hope if they aren’t man enough to come fwd, that every measure is taken to find out who it is and they be BANNED for life. (IP block or whatever it is these days to ensure they’re gone for good. Only way I’d even entertain letting them stay, after a LONG temp ban, which if they are found on during that time would mean lifetime banning, is if they came fwd and Claythan was okay with their apology. I don’t run this board, but if I did, their ass would be gone- it really undermines people’s safety to openly share, and hurts CP’s open discussion.. You can dog someone on here and all, and I enjoy getting to know posters thru their frank and open disc of their lives. This sort of shit is WAY crossing the line!! I don’t post nearly as much as others, but I’ve been here for quite some time and read this board NONSTOP! I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with anyone here, and enjoy a lot of people’s takes on various subjects- including Claythan’s. He catches a lot of shit, and no one said you had to put on the kid gloves with people around here, but this is so wrong on so many levels. Esp. when a great many of us have divulged info re: our personal lives that if it made it back to some of those we were discussing would not be a happy conversation! The fact that someone took the time and effort to do all this just tops any shots people take at him, saying he’s a loser and to get a life. Ya know what he’s not doing? F* with your personal life in some sort of pathetic internet message board stalker-like revenge obsessed manner..
I’m sorry you had to deal with this, and the source of the problem came from here of all places. Someone just hit a new personal low….

I wouldn't, but also the fact that the thread originally about some some guy I met off of match.com on there, I would fear retaliation. I may mention when I'm nervous about an upcoming date, but no way do I mention names or how I met them anymore. Hell it's been so long ago, I can't remember if I actually posted information about that guy, or just pictures.

I guess it depends on whether or not you're known in the bar for showing your ass on a semi-weekly basis.

Damnit, quit changing the title. There was nothing wrong with narc for crying out loud.

lets just name it the "Let's see how many times we can change the name of this thread" thread.

Not too difficult. You know someone's first and last name? Maybe they use their email address handle on different sites. I guess in Clay's case, the person could have known her age, figured she was from Houston like Clay is, and known which site to look on, went to the site, put in the criteria, looked for the picture, and wham.

Think before you act.

he's the most desperately, pathetically, attention seeking human, of any age or gender, i've ever encountered.....that said, it just seems a bit cruel as this guy is looking at a lifetime of virginity...

I would think so, too. Actually, the guy the I have a date thread is about was the one who told me about the different ways to find out information. Kinda creeped me out.
