Sure I was, only to show you what a joke it is to talk about how relevant the past is to the discussion of the 2009 football season. I, nor most of us, care what Nebraska did in years gone past, just as it doesn't matter to me what Mizzou did in years gone past. THIS year, we are undefeated. That's really all that matters to this point. You're not the first Husker fan to blow up about the past, but it still carries as much weight now as it did for the other guy. In the end, you both just look silly trying to build the modern day Nebraska up by using the accomplishments of years gone past. Talking about how many national titles you've had, or how many years you owned the Big 8 doesn't get you Blaine Gabbert, or give you a stop against the Hokies TODAY. |
