Get ****ed, idiot.

sometimes you have to have setbacks in order to get better. It happens.

look at the steelers they are a classic example. they went 6-10 the year they drafted roethlistberger and boom!!! They took off and won bowls.

They were pretty solid everywhere. Had a great defense as it was. A good head coach. solid group of WRs, good running game, and a pretty decent O-line. Were they going to win with Tommy Maddox? Absolutely not. He was setting them back much like Cassel is going to do with us. you watch and see. Im telling you.

What happened with Pitt in 2003? they went 6-10. because tommy maddox sucks. and when you have a sh*tty qb it just sets you back no matter how good the team is around you. And roethlisberger comes in the next season, and they ****n go 15-1...LOL AHAHAHAHA..you see? A ****ing QB that was their final piece to their puzzle that they were missing and they took off after. Why can't that be us? Im saying thats what I would like to see us do and follow that example. Them going 6-10 that year was weeeellll worth it!! Because they got ****ing Big Ben!! And he was the difference. Nobody can tell me they would of won without him.

Whats wrong with hoping for a bad season so your team could get Luck who is probably one of the best QBs to come out in a very long time. When is the last time KC had a QB? 28 years. I ****ing want a real one and I feel Luck is that guy.

If the Steelers had tanked that season, do you think they would be the same team today if they had drafted Eli Manning?

Sometimes you get ass cancer and then sometimes you recover and get stronger than before.

It doesn't mean you shove cigarettes into asshole and light them.

They wouldn't be as good. But I still think they would've won bowls.

You are saying you trust the people running our organization right now to draft Luck because in the end, we will be much better. ........Yet you have zero faith in the guy the same people selected to be our QB now.

That makes a shit ton of sense.

Nope
You are right.
Toenails aren't bad enough. He should be strung up by his meat curtains.

Look here's the thing. I like Pioli.

But you know what? Every GM whether they are good or bad are all going to make mistakes. Its just part of being human. And I felt his biggest mistake was bringing in Cassel to be the QB.

Everybody with a set of eyes knows he ****ed up there.

If Cassel screws this thingy up, I trust he will make changes.

Luck is the guy Im hoping for because I feel he is the next best QB to come out in a very long time. i think anybody sitting at #1 will take him. Its just a no brainer. unless, some ridiculous trade offer comes up by some other team. but mosts teams 9x out of 10 are sure as hell going to take him.

We sat through a 2-14 season and all we got for it was Tyson Jackson. It's like one those shitty t-shirts you buy in Mexico.

With some of the talent it seems we are compiling we will soon be in a position where we could trade a player and a later pick to move up to grab a QB sometime in the next few years. Not all of the bad teams will even be looking for QBs because they will have found what they believe to be the QBOTF already and will be glad to trade a top spot.

A race to the bottom just to get the top pick seems like a flawed strategy, what happens when you play the other 0-15 team in the last game of the year? Are you both going to forfeit just to get the top pick? I think you'd have players demanding to leave for a real team the next year.

They've won 2 SBs since they drafted Ben.

So you are sayng they would have won those 2 with Eli?

Id rather take the 5-11 and increase my chances of landing the top QB prospect IF it betters our chances of going to the bowl in the future, why not?

First off you keep talking about Luck and using top 5 pick, or 5 wins. Neither of those two get us near Luck. Only the first pick does. If you think 5 wins beats out Cincy or other crap teams for the Luck pick you are crazy.

IF you are going to say, doesnt have to be Luck, just a top QB...you do realize that the 3 best QBs dont get taken 1, 2, and 3 right. If the Chiefs have a bad season they could get from say 14th to 6th without giving up the world. So either arguement, I don't see it being worth it to sell my soul as a fan. Luck means 2 win season, and trying to get that will be more impressive then winning the AFC Championship.

Sometimes you have to knuckle up and go all in with a less than optimal hand.

I mean, last season was REALLY a blast until the appendix blew out...I knew we werent gonna go far in the playoffs but **** man...we WON GAMES. Remember the feeling after the Monday night game?
.

You and SNR said it as well as anybody. Diehard fan means wearing your heart on your sleeve and putting yourself out there to be crushed. It would be ****ing awesome to have a top 3 QB, but rooting for your team to fail in HOPE that we GET the 1st pick, followed by HOPE that he is so great, its just crazy. Simple point is, if you don't root for your team you are not a fan of that team. You can spin it and call a look to the future all you want, either you are in the boat with us, living and dying with each game, or you aren't. You don't get to step out and jump back on.

Big Ben makes plays consistently that Eli Manning can't make.

Manning had one 8 or 9 game stretch in which he looked like the QB that was worth the #1 overall pick that was used to select him, not to mention the picks that the Giants gave up to get him.

The fact is, he hasn't played to the level of a first round pick, much less the #1 overall, and very likely would not have competed in the SBs that Ben has.

You also made a post sometime tonight, can't find the thread, where you said something to the affect of "I am going to laugh when you guys cry when the Chiefs fail." You wonder why people take your comments the wrong way? You are excited about making fun of Chiefs fans for hoping their teams wins? Weird that people don't care what you are saying.....

I've been heartbroken too many times. Can't even think straight.

I've been piled up and ganged up on many times that I resent some on this board.

So yeah if they fail, I'd like to see some of those jerks get riled up and know how it feels when they do it to me.
