Just so we're clear, your hand doesn't count.

My oldest daughter was 3 years old.... I had just a tad over a years seniority at my current 20 year seniority job... Bought a house.... Went to multiple games when I was a true homer and met many of you with family and friends.... Bought and sold 8 vehicles...Become a grandfather... Had 2 dogs and 1 cat die of old age... And watched multiple family members pass away.

The last part is what bothers me the most. My dad and I have this Sunday ritual where we always spend time together to watch the Chiefs. He and I have been to many games together over the years and created multiple quality memories there. I'm 41 and have yet to watch this miserable franchise in a Superbowl. Dad's 68 now and his health is gradually degrading. It would really suck if this ******* franchise can't pull their ******* heads out of their a**** for ONE G** **** year and finally represent the AFC and win the Superbowl before my father and I don't have the opportunity together.

I am not going to read the entire thread.

How many "I was born" posts have there been?

1. Was promoted and got lots of raises
2. Changed jobs three times
3. Fixed over 15,000 computers
4. Burned out 5 cars and 2 minivans
5. Oh almost forgot...was abducted by aliens and returned after they found nothing of interest from the genital test results.

I am so sorry
but on the 30 year cycle of decent chiefs teams
we are close to almost not suck again

I am 7 years old

Chiefs win Super Bowl and I love that team

Then here goes life and .....42 Years later here I am suffering like a fat whore in church

Still remember that day and that game.

Sad to think it has been that long.
I started teaching in 1992. It's now 21 years later.

Events-too many to mention. Kids, moving, life, death.

I used to get excited on game day and lived on every play. Then I realized I wasted three hours and got no work done. The Herm years forced me to work and watch the game. Now, I have to force myself to sit in front of the TV. Last week I went to Costco.

I would settle for a competent competitive team at this point.
Glad the season is almost over. Spring is around the corner

Can I play?

Graduated college... watched Denver win 2 rings, got married, built a house - had 3 kids - moved and built another house - saw the NFL expand from 28 to 32 teams - watched Plummer and Tebow win playoff games in Denver, while watching Manning prepare for another SB run in Denver.

It's crazy to think that KC's last win was against the Houston Oilers and LA had 2 teams... Bettis was the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Kurt Cobain was still alive and Google was still 5 years away from being founded. Clark Hunt was 28 years old.

Well, this cheered me right up...

It just feels mean when you say it. Why do you have to use ugly, hurtful words?

In search of a championship my son was born in 1999. In 2011 he won his 1st national karting championship, and in 2012 he won 2 more national championships, just missing the coveted WKA Triple Crown. :D

See, I get to brag on my kid and trash the chiefs in one short post. That's a win-win in my book!
