Pay the man. He's been nothing but professional and consistent. Also he and Flowers are besties. There's no telling if Flowers starts to slip w/o Carr. We have a chance at an all time Chiefs secondary, which is really saying something. I'd much rather lose inconsistent Bowe - as painful as that would be. |

After Pioli went to bat for Bowe with the whole Haley thing, I think Bowe will be brought back for sure.

Great game once again. He deserves Flowers money and if the Chiefs aren't willing to give him that then someone else will in free agency.
They are 30 million under the cap with more money coming off after this year. Would be a total embarrassment if he's not re-signed. |
Arenas can't play on the outside, and Brown isn't and won't ever be as good as Carr, and I'm a Brown fan.
I don't see a better pair of corners in the NFL. Lock them up. |
Carr deserves to get paid, and paid well.
It better be from the Chiefs. |
that tightwad clark has plenty of money to sign carr and bowe, get it done...

Just drop Flowers' contract in front of him and call it a day.
Pioli !@#$ed this negotiation up before the season when he didn't lock him down like he should have, when his value was extremely low and he hadn't already set his 'ceiling' for corners. Instead he did it in a backwards order, let it drag on and lost his leverage. Now the best decision he can make is to give him the market value so he can at least maintain leverage as it relates to Bowe. Getting Carr signed makes the franchise tag on Bowe a done deal. So lets at least try to salvage something here by giving Carr what he's going to get anyway, giving it to him now and getting some negotiating leverage back with Bowe. Pioli really did screw the pooch here. |

Extensions
NFL teams have until Saturday at 4 pm eastern time to submit contract extensions. In such cases, any increase in 2011 compensation is treated as signing bonus and prorated through the life of the contract, with 2011 as one of the prorated years http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...s-on-2011.html Go get carr locked up |
