This arizona thread isn't as intense.

Where is the play-by-play of the photos of him getting off the plane.

Where is the flight history?

Slackers.

Funny how powerful the word "Cassel" is around here in terms of taking the wind out of peoples sails.

Just the thought of him returning as the teams full time starter after beig all hopped up in Manning fever is enough to make a guy want to take a nap on a saturday night.

I just don't get it. Wasn't there a report that Manning's camp told the Redskins they weren't interested? If that's the case and he's not interested in KC, then why not say so?

Does the Chiefs' jet use Wheeler/Downtown, MCI or Johnson County Executive?

Insert V for Vendetta music. Cassel is more than a person. He represents the soul of this organiztion and how we work. He is a Front Office idea, and Chiefs fans can't kill this organiztions ideas. The Hunt's ideas are bullet proof.

Because the Redskins were aggressive in pursuing him.

Exactly. WAS and NYJ were screaming and Clark muttered something into a tin can. He doesn't really have to quite KC talk like he did with WAS.

So our version of Extending Sanchez/Trading up for RG3 is to do nothing and keep Cassel? ****.

I think it's Johnson County Executive.

I'm just worried that Matt is going to be rattled if we bring in Manning for a look. Hell, he may be so shaken up that he won't be able to get his hat on again.

BossChief 03-10-2012 07:18 PM

Other teams want to win a championship...the Chiefs want to prove to those teams that KC can win with Matt Cassel.

The Cardinals have a poor OL, no money to spend, play in the NFC and have a defense that would force Manning to win shootouts every week and throw the team on his back to do so.

KC is a RT away from having a borderline elite OL (as evidenced by the 3 game stretch to end the year only giving up a single sack total in the three games with Orton) 3 good receivers, a reliable tight end (I know there is a joke in that somewhere) an elite running back (albeit coming off injury) and a defense that should end in the top ten.

25 million to spend and a draft of picks all in the top third of each round to add to all that as well.

Add a qb to that and it's a superbowl team On PAPER.

Peyton KNOWS THAT.

He also has heard about Waters treatment, Tony G situation...gum wrappers and tapped cell phones....even if half that is just rumor that isn't true, where there is smoke there is fire.

As I've said before, I can just see Sky Harbor from my window. I will keep an eye out during the next hour.
