Usually, this would be true - but with this level of incompetency from Pioli regarding the reality of Cassel over 4 years - fans have had enough. At best, Pioli should be put an a month-to-month immediately terminable contract. But Clark has bought into the Pioli image, at the dismay of the fans.

They offered him an extension, he didn't like it, and didn't sign it.
