I do too, Zach. In no way is my observation that the team played better under no pressure of experiencing the vitriol they've seen is in no way arguing to keep the status quo. It's simply saying that we've hit bottom and things are going to turn around. We can start supporting the turn around now or wait until changes are made. Either way, the support needs to happen. And I feel that this team has earned a reprieve from the hate for the rest of the season. I'm not like Keitzman right now who is saying he thinks Crennel and Pioli saved their asses for next year and that it trumps Clark Hunt's hand in firing them. I think all of them will see that the best possible scenario FOR ALL INVOVLVED is for them to move on in a different direction. |

If booing caused poor play, no team would ever win on the road. This topic is gay.

There's a serious flaw with this theory.
This season, including the last few weeks, the fans have cheered good plays. Even when they are down 10+ points, the fans have cheered and supported the team for every 1st down and score. You are acting like the fans have been booing from the opening kickoff and have sat on their hands whenever the Chiefs made a good play, and then that abruptly changed this week. That is not true. There's really been no difference this week except the absence of a banner flying over the stadium before kickoff. If Quinn had thrown 3 picks or something like that yesterday, I guarantee you would have heard boos, shooting or no shooting. |

I thought it odd, that for the first time all year, KC threw the ball downfield more than 5 yards to wide open receivers and upon completion, there were no penalites for holding, offensive pass interference, illegal man downfield, etc.
In fact there were no penalties called on KC the entire day until the late delay of game flag. It was as if both Carolina and the league (read referees) let up on the team for one week. It was surreal and had nothing to do with the half empty stadium. |
This thread needs to be jammed into a deep, dark, AIDS infested hole.
In other words, send it back into it's creator. |
