No, didn't even know it existed. May have to track it down. Never really got into Millennium.

The series had some serious problems. Lack of direction being the biggest. The Jose Chung episode and "Somehow, Satan Got Behind Me" are both comedy episodes penned by Darin Morgan that you should enjoy if you are a a fan of his work.

I am sure it is getting tons of viewers, but it is just meh to me.

Another good one. Kind of surprised this revival's been as good as it has. Next week's looks fun.

I'm getting this vibe as well. I like that it takes me back to the original. But the production looks 90's as well. Not a gripe really, just an observation.

I won't miss an episode though.

This last episode was good. Got the dude from Flash in the next episode

I would say the new episodes are just average. It's nice to see the characters again, but the stories haven't been exceptional. Now I know that the writers/creators probably haven't been focusing on the series since it was cancelled, but you would think that with more than a decade having passed that they could have come up with something more innovative than a cookie cutter conspiracy theory episode, and a rehashed golem plot

I was never a fan of this series, and find these new episodes as tedious as the original.

Am I the only person who thinks that Ducovny is a pretty sorry actor?

Mennonite 02-14-2016 05:32 PM

Yeah, he's pretty wooden.

Maybe you should try the episode "Grotesque." It features Red Forman himself.

Speaking of whom:

That was a bit odd.

The line dancing was a riot...

I was thinking more along the lines of WHAT THE **** WAS THAT?

NJChiefsFan 02-15-2016 10:24 PM

I would prefer more of a normal x files feel but I think they have done a good job overall. This episode was another good example. This is the closest Duchovney has come to true Mulder, save for the tripping scene. He wasn't trying to be super clever every line.

I thought the episode had good pace and a strong message about humanity, which is very x fileish.

Mennonite 02-16-2016 06:17 PM

It should have stayed cancelled. :deevee:

Very disappointed. Oh well, I've still got the old dvds, I guess. I think I'll have a little marathon this weekend.

Profound.

I guess I am weird. I liked it.
