On the first sac of the day from Michael Johnson, Grubbs literally turned around as he was running past him to go help Fish.

Unless we've signed a bunch of stupid players then there is something wrong with our coaching or system. Same thing goes for lack of effort and/or commitment from the players. We have too many problems not tied to talent. If a player can't run fast enough or isn't strong enough to make the play, that's one thing. When players don't know what to do or aren't giving full effort then there is something wrong and changes need to be made. |

Fisher is one of 5 tackles in the NFL to not give up a sack or a pressure

Fisher is the least of their worries.
The guard spots are still an unmitigated disaster. |

A lot of this shit is just stupid coaching putting players in a bad position. |
Are we really going to turn a thread about Fisher starting on game into a Fisher megathread? If this thread pops up again I swear I will turn it into an Alex Smith thread.

Stephenson can't play right tackle, no one can play right guard and Fisher is being wasted at right tackle. It's a cluster****. |

As of right now, Fisher is our best Olineman. If he can stop with the penalties then he is more than adequate at right tackle. Fisher is a better RT than Stephenson is an LT. If Fisher didn't have a mess at RG he would probably be even better(just like when Swartz took over RG). Looks like by the end of the season Morse is going to be our 2nd best lineman. Grubb has been a disappointment. Stephenson is what he is, don't think he gets much better. |
