After he came out of the closet, he all the sudden developed a lisp and began sounding like, enunciating his words and using the same terminology as a valley girl.

Why did this change take place? Was he likely always covering up the lisp/valley girl vibe he wanted to give off or was it forced????

Hard to say without knowing the person.

Have you known a person that this has happened to? If so, what was the case with this particular person/these particular people? I know of another gay dude in which the same thing happened. I worked with him at Applebees when I was 18. The dude and I used to talk about how hot we thought certain chicks were. Dude was borderline overboard with it...Like every girl that would walk by, he'd be all, "dude, you see that ass??" "Dude, you see those ****ing tits...those are freaking hot, man!!!"

The next year, the dude came out of the closet and is dating my cousin and he is enunciating his words like a valley girl and has a lisp...a lisp that I hadn't noticed previously.

Surely you've met/known someone who this has happened to, right? If so, what do you think the reason may be? Is there pressure from the gay community to behave a certain way to prove something?

Unbiased opinion: Kate or Sophia?

Honestly, no. I have noticed that some peoples personality changes with intoxicants but I have never seen anyone sans a personality disorder change personalities on a dime.

What advice would you give a 15 year old boy who knows he's gay but is very conflicted about it?

Asking for my daughter, whose best friend in the whole world is the aforementioned kid. He's a great kid, very witty, loyal to a fault to my daughter. They're inseparable. He's spent weekends at our house before.

I think the world of this kid and I hate to think of the turmoil he's probably going through.

Would you have any words of wisdom for me?

LMAO

I can see how one would think that. However, you've never met Dawson. He's not just gay, he's one of those guys you can spot from a mile away. I think "flaming" is the word for it.

That's what I was thinking, but I didn't want to be the one to break it to him.
