With a caveat that:

1) I haven't played the game
2) I haven't watched the show
3) I wasn't the one to pull the trigger on the thread ban...

With other similar shows (Game of Thrones comes to mind), it got to the point that it was worth having "spoiler" and "spoiler free" threads. I have no idea if there's enough to this series that that would be worth it, but it's something to consider if the tension between game spoilers and show spoilers gets to be tough to manage.

Is it a spoiler to say that they for the most part have been incredibly faithful to the source material so far?

Especially if this is a 10 parter, they seem to be keeping each chapter of the game as an episode in the show.

There were 10 chapters total with about 5 levels each.

For the record....this thread is about the TV show, not the game.

I feel for anyone who hasnt played the game that got anything spoiled for them.

No one should assume that everyone knows the full storyline (including Part 2).

ehh....I didnt have a problem with the 2nd game like some did.

It would have been lazy for Naughty Dog to have the same storyline in part 2.

No. **** that game. To follow up such a masterpiece like TLOU with a generic "~~redacted~~ is bad" plot was so disappointing. It's even worse that you couldn't criticize the absolutely shit narrative without it being dismissed as "you're just anti woke".
