Can he make a Grand Slam?

Does he stay open and entertain drunks after a night of heavy drinking?

Mark Martin will take over the 11 car.
He left Michael Waltrip racing and joined Gibbs. |
Martinsville Speedway Overview Both pedals get a workout at Martinsville Speedway, as the 0.526-mile track's unique shape (think paper clip) gives drivers two straightaways and two very tight corners where brakes get tested more than anywhere else on the circuit. The three bad guys are at the top of the list. |
Surprised that the odds on Jr weren't even lower. Almost every time I have looked at odds in the last few years, he's in the top 5.
|
Quote:
Yeah, he's been solid this year no doubt. |
No surprise - JimiJo and Jeff 1-2
Love Jeff's paint scheme for today's race |
Seems like there are quite a few different sponsors/schemes than normal. I didn't recall Richmond being one that varied as much in the past.
|
I like the light blue look on the #55

nothing can be her fault.....LOL

It's not like Vickers drilled her. She tried to bump JR up and out of the groove - and she did...then she couldn't do anything with the space and started stacking up cars behind her. Hey, wonder of wonders, she got nudged and couldn't control her car. Vickers bump certainly played a role, but that's what heppens - guys bump for position. Danica needed to have better car control than that if she was going to put her car into spaces that tight. She's just not a very good driver. She reminds me of a less aggressive, less talented version of Montoya. She just isn't skilled enough to do the things she's trying to do. |

Conn. senator wants Fox to pull plug on NRA race
Democratic Senator Chris Murphy Connecticut has sent a letter to media mogul Rupert Murdoch asking that Fox network not broadcast Saturday night's NASCAR Sprint Cup race sponsored by the National Rifle Association. Murphy also questioned the Victory Lane tradition at Texas, where the winner gets a cowboy hat and can fire six-shooters loaded with blanks into the air.
