I've never been more excited in my life... Jesus.

I'm fine with whatever happens with this team from this point on.

I read on CP that soccer is boring and not exciting, so please check your excitement at the door, thanks.

I'd probably have to agree, but I wanna win this thing so bad. It's all we really have left to conquer. And like Raush said, it would shut those cocky euros up. We could wave it in their face for the next 4 years. How ****ing awesome would that be!

90+1 min: GOAL! USA 1 - Algeria 0 (Donovan '91) USA counter with extreme pace, the ball is threaded through to Altidore, it's squared across goal, and it's broken free... and THERE HE IS! DONOVAN SLIDES IT HOME! THE USA ARE AHEAD!
89 min: I just can't see where the USA goal is coming from. They're looking nervy and uncomfortable in front of goal and the heads are down. But, there's four minutes of added time.

Me too as long as the refs don't screw us. I don't want to lose on some Bullshit because then I won't feel like watching the rest.

3 words in my head.

Where's my cake?

I literally believe that Landon Donovan saved the future of soccer in this country. It was hanging by a thread.

One minute screwed by refs and sent home the next a miracle goal to win the group.

The cake is a lie.

The goal, however, is real and is all the sustenance we need today.

That is a very good point. I wonder how many young athletes will be inspired by this game. The problem with US Soccer is that our best young athletes go to Football or Basketball.

I wonder if this game will inspire more to play Soccer.

You can actually thank Kim Jong-Il for that play call.

I have a nagging feeling that my Thermodynamics Professor is going to ask me a question about an adabiatic process and I'll reply 'how the **** should I know, the US moved on today bitches.'
