Ya, he's line for sure.

I thought for sure they'd go Mike if one was available and not a reach; otherwise take a DB.

I'm seriously in doubtsville about the state of our ILB, but maybe the coaches feel Poe is addition by subtraction, because he was never back to full health and soft at the point of attack, which only further exposed our rather mediocre interior backers. I think it also forced Sutton to run more drop 1 only schemes than he may have preferred with respect to our safeties.

Texans took Cunningham. They seemingly decided to respond with a, 'How's your mother?' Departed-style response, in kind, for last night’s buggery by Andy and John on about 5 other NFL clubs making eyes at Mahomes to be their own dance partner.

So much will be riding on Logan inside... but yeah... probably. Tanoah whateverthe**** isn't going to be of any real use in 2017.

Haters, man.... just imagine for a second that this pick turns out like I'm sure the FO foresees and we have TWO Chris Jones type players in the middle someday soon.

no ILBs left worth that spot...

This guy has a crazy upside and with the loss of Howard, gives them a cheap player for 4 years.

Haters are dumb.

Fine, but why draft him in the second round?

Hey man, I am usually very optimistic about these things, but initial feelings are that he is FAR from being anywhere in Chris Jones' world. FAR from.

Because that's where the Chiefs graded him.

You draft him in the 2nd round because you don't want to take any chance of him not being a Chief.

It speaks volumes about their feelings on the prospect.

Sassy Squatch 04-28-2017 07:36 PM

He has a 2-3 round grade on a couple places. Not exactly a huge reach. Not who I would have chosen but Dorsey has been pretty stellar with these types so lets ride it out.

FloridaMan88 04-28-2017 07:36 PM

It figures that after the Chiefs break their recent draft mold and trade up to draft a QB in round one, they have to go back to their worst recent tendency in round 2 and reach for a defensive lineman project.

The franchise of Junior Siavii and Alex Magee will never learn.

wazu 04-28-2017 07:37 PM

Holy crap, the viscous defense of this pick. It's okay. It could one day be great. But he wasn't on any of our shortlists. And Kamara was there. Hopefully Dorsey is right and this guy is a badass. Just feels kinda Dee Ford-ish right now.

kcchiefsus 04-28-2017 07:37 PM

He'll be this year's early round pick who is cut before the season.

ChiliConCarnage 04-28-2017 07:37 PM

Lots of trading this draft. Not an NBA affair but it's fun

Frosty 04-28-2017 07:38 PM

I always love the "we could have gotten him later" stuff. LMAO You have absolutely no idea if that is true or not. The NFL guys have a sense where other teams have people graded and have their board arraigned accordingly. Joe Blow on his couch, reading some other Joe Blow's draft guide, is clueless about where teams have players graded.
