Ok, so how does rate on the scale of great moments and wins in the history of your watching sports. This has to be one of the top three for me but I can't think of what the other two would be. I know Mario Chalmers was one. David Tyree's catch is up there for me as well.

But this one has worldwide implications so it might just be tops.

1. Mario Chalmers

2. Montana to Willie Davis
3. Dane Iorg 9th inning GW RBI in game 6 of 85 World Series
4. Grbac to Rison in Oakland on Monday Night
5. Donovan GW in stoppage time

I hate this ****ing English analyst they have on ESPN. He's been talking shit about the US the whole time.

He just said, with all due respect, the US is the preferred opponent (for Germany).

What has England shown to prove this?

If the USA and Mexico both win (off chance with Mexico facing Argentina) I believe I would be watching USA v Mexico as an American living in Mexico.

Edit, was wrong, no chance of the two facing off til the finals which I doubt will happen.

if they would ever face in an knockout round. I would probably root for mexico only because USA dominates at pretty much EVERYTHIng else and i dont see any problem with throwing my background a bone.

I am rooting big time for both teams though.

ROFL In my opinion USA has far outplayed everyone. IE today they could have probably won 4-0.

Oh man, all of us out at Power and Light were absolutely shitting bricks. There was so much frustration and just a general "WTF HOW COULD PHYSICS AND LIFE REALLY BE TURNING OUT LIKE THIS" so many chances and let downs but people were really cheering them on...esp after the 80th min.

Then it happened. It felt like 10 mins they were bobbling around in front of that goal. It goes in...no refs...no questions...

PEOPLE WENT BAT SHIT MOTHER****ING MADHOUSE CRAZY. Everyone was running around high fiving...strangers hugging and jumping up and down together...everyone was just elated. I think I accidently had unprotected sex with some chick without even thinking it about it, everything was that nutty. We were all just standing under that huge TV screen watching the replays and the interviews...a bunch of Wizards players were there going nuts...

...It was just awesome. We ****ing did it! One of the best sports moments of my whole life.

Just got back from the bar.

Talk about a roller coaster of emotions. Went from excited at the beginning, to feeling helpless as our first legitimate goal was waived, then to depression, and to sheer elation.

We were screaming, hugging random people. It was pandemonium. ****ing awesome. Got so many free shots. Day drinking FTW!

Ha, for the game I was in the living room area right in the middle. Had a nice little chair.

I ended up getting lunch at McFaddens at the bar afterward though.

You two probably accidentally had unprotected sex with each other and didn't even know it.

I thought I felt that way with K-State in the Tournament this year, but if it's there try and take it!! Now that I've thought about it a bit more...that really was one of those "destiny" plays you see teams pull of when they make a deep run in the playoffs or a tourney.

Now we could very well go out in the next round...I dunno, just something about this team feels very different compared to previous WCs.
