The ghee may have a different flavor, may be better. The source of the cows can absolutely have an effect on the butterfat. I'll never know if I don't try it. If I can't tell a difference between cultured and sweet cream, I'll stick to the cheaper stuff.

I decided to try this route because I read a blog post from someone I trust making the suggestion.
