A NY/LA final. When was the last time that happened in any sport?

I don't know what's a bigger accomplishment:
1. Taking down the defending Stanley Cup Champions by playing from behind ALL NIGHT LONG in their building. 2. Bucking Rolltide's bracket. I'm leaning towards the latter. So proud of this team, and really impressed by both. Chicago's one helluva team, and will be for quite some time. And LA...well it's just so opposite my sports fandom's nature to actually support a team with balls the size of sea mines. |

In retrospect, that game is giving me flashbacks of the Avs-Wild Game 7 only with more skilled teams. The quicker team seemed to have control the entire game, but couldn't shake the more grinding, physical team. Made it into OT, and all it takes is one goal to win it.

What a great series! Props to the Kings who will go on and take the Rangers in five games. |
