I think the NFL needs to impose some sort of rule where you pick up discarded players off the scrap heap, who were cut due to suspension of some sort, you lose draft pick(s).

That said, because this involves a kid - this SHOULD be treated much worse than Mike Vick and the protests that occurred when he was available to play again.
