Meh, live and learn.
I purchased it brand new, on sale for 40 bucks. If anyone wants it for the PS3 I will sell it to you for 20 bucks + shipping. PM me if you want it.

Funny thing is, I loved both recent Fallout games and despised Grand Theft Auto.

I put this game on the shelf until all the DLC comes out. I'll pick it up along with the DLC later this summer.

New DLC, Old World Blues, hit the store yesterday, I picked it up and am about 3 hours in -- If you like old school science fiction and great humor, pick this one up.. Only one more DLC left.
800 space bucks.

I started playing this again over the weekend - hadn't played since January. I downloaded Dead Money but haven't started it yet.

Dead Money and Honest Hearts are both ehhhh mediocre. Definitely pick up Old WOrld Blues when you level up your character to at least 10 or 15

Just started playing this & a few other games I never finished.

Old World Blues looks cool. I like bizarro technology stories.

Oh, I'm up in the mid-20s. When it comes to games like this I'm definitely a completionist - I explore everything, look in every nook and cranny for stuff and wander around gaining extra experience. I'm still in the middle of the Brotherhood of Steel quests and there's plenty left beyond that. I have my speech ability up so high at this point that I get to skip most of the hoop jumping, which is nice.

Speaking of the Brotherhood of Steel, a couple months ago I loaded up Fallout 3 and finally finished the main quest and then finished Broken Steel.

****ing awesome. Liberty Prime is incredible.

Same -- I'm playing at a level 18 with my sneak, guns, speech, and science skills all in the 80s.

I do the same thing. I still haven't picked up Honest Hearts, but I kinda liked the challenge from Dead Money.

What are the most important skills to build up first?
