Knowing what we now know about Colin Kaepernick (and what Jim Harbaugh knew before anyone else), which QB's in the NFL would you start over him?

Brady
Brees
Both mannings
Rodgers
Luck
Roethlisberger

Those right off the top of my head.

still doesn't change the fact Smith was a backup, even if it was behind Jesus

One 300+ yard game versus Atlanta in the playoffs (385 yards).

about sums it up.

And he was great against the falcons. Made some great plays. But it would be a little silly to not at least mention that it was against the worst pass d in the NFL.

I'm just saying it may be a little early to crown kapernick or Wilson

Flynn threw for 6 TDs against the LIONS. Their pass D was horrific. Take him. Atleast Smith can win a playoff game.

He has to be better than Palmer and his empty yards though right?

BossChief 03-29-2013 05:32 PM

Combined rushing and passing, Kaepernick averaged more than a hundred yards more PER GAME than Alex Smith in the regular season.

Wow, who knew that Kaepernick was a dual-threat QB?

I disagree with your entire list.

There's only one guy today that I'd bench Kaepernick for and that's Cam Newton.

I think Kaepernick is that good. And I think that Newton is even better.

Could you imagine Newton with Belichick? Or Coughlin? Or even Reid?

It sucks that he's been stuck with Carolina and Rivera. And now, Mike Shula, the same guy that could never generate any offense in Tampa Bay under Dungy, regardless of the QB.
