The traveling call was outright garbage.
.

That was more 50/50 than you want to believe. If Missouri got that call and won the game, there would be some irate Oklahoma fans.

I pretty much agree. I mean, I saw a couple outright bad calls by the refs, but we're just a weak-minded team on the road. And Air Tiller trying to show his offense doesn't help matters.

Or the 2 possessions and 4 FTs that OU got off two blatantly blow calls. We'll just remove the OOB call from the discussion, the charge and the 'travel' were inexcusable calls that led directly to 4 free throws (all made, BTW) for OU and 2 lost possessions for MU.

They were down 2 with 50 seconds left. If the officials get just the travel call right, giving MU the ball instead of OU the FTs, the whole thing turns out differently.

MU shouldn't have let it come to that, but they absolutely got hosed.

You can say what you want, but...scoreboard.

How do you figure?

He never had possession of the basketball and 11 hip checked him.

It damn sure shouldn't have been traveling. Now had OU been whistled with a foul, that would've been an MU break on a 50/50 call (because they absolutely could have been). But a travel there was a blatantly poor whistle.

He took a dribble and a half, fell to the floor, and slid. Was he pushed down? Maybe. Like I said, that call could have gone either way. If the teams were reversed, you wouldn't be contesting that call. It's our fault we let them get the ball to an 80% free throw shooter. Like many KU fans have said, that was a typically officiated conference game. What more do you want me to say here? Start with name calling and personal attacks? Start a thread about why the Chiefs should draft Alexander? Enough with the homer shit, I'm a Missouri fan but I'm not about to blame a loss on the officiating. Oh wait, you said you weren't either.

Today's outcome seriously hurts MU's chances at winning the Big 12 regular season but the real conference champ wins the Big 12 tournament so it's not that big a loss.

Did you honestly think MU had a chance to win the regular season? Maybe in a couple years when our better recruiting classes get some experience.

LMAO

Yeah winning a 3 day tournament is more impressive than being the best team over a 5 week conference season.
