Soooo....

After basically being shitcanned by NBC last year, Community is now renewed for the fall. It and Parks and Rec are (literally) the only NBC sitcoms returning for the fall season.

Wacky.

Pretty amazing really, especially after they crapped all over it. I got the impression that even the cast thought they were done, and the last episode certainly felt that way. NBC acts like they want to move away from quirky 30 Rock/Parks/Community type shows. They'd much rather dredge up Matthew Perry for the 14th time. Yet Parks and Community were the only thing that survived the NBC massacre today.

Although to be fair it might have to do with syndication... both of those shows can be syndicated with another season.

The wife pointed this show out to me because it reminded her of my HBC school days.

Then she really hated it.
