But he isn't more accurate and his numbers and history back that up. That's an urban myth.

He is a career 57% passer. He is what he is I don't care what "system" he was in. He checks the ball down anyway and that's why he lost his job.

He didn't just start throwing dink and dunk passes this preseason. Checkdown has always been his MO and he still only completed 57%.

Cassel rarely puts the ball in a place so that the receiver doesn't break stride.

But I wonder if he does that so far and away better that it would be worth bringing him in. Beyond everything else that's been mentioned, I'm not sure Cassel could handle having Leinart on the sidelines. We don't need to give Cassel one more thing to think/worry/stress about.

Cassel whooped his ass head to head when he was in NE and Lienart was in AZ.

Score is 1-0 Cassel in the NFL. He ain't skeeered.

If Cassel can't handle a poor backup QB on the sideline, what will he do on the field?

Oh, wait.......he is already poor on the field.

:D

Well, hell, bring Leinart in then. Let him play back-up. Maybe it'll make Cassel better, give him something to prove - something to rub a nose in.

I don't see any benefit to bringing in Leinart.

He sucks.

Whether he sucks more or less than Cassel is irrelevant.

Let's bring in a kid developmental prospect that might actually have a chance to grow into a good NFL QB rather than bring in another piece of crap whose biggest selling point is that he's better than Palko.

RB, if Cassel folds to the pressure of bring in Leinart then he stands NO chance of leading KC to a Championship. It's a moot point. Bring in Leinart and lets watch what happens.

This would be my preference as well.

This.

I'm no Cassel fan, and all for replacing him. But you don't replace a chicken shit sandwich with a dogshit sandwich. And that's what it would be. I don't get the fascination of stupid posters who want to bring in every failed and bust QB in here. Cassel and Leinart are similar except that at least Cassel appears like he WANTS to play football as a priority. So in that regard, Cassel is the better choice. End of ****ing discussion.

Don't know any better way to say it.
