You think that people who kill, rape, and pillage(Cuss? really?) don't know that what they are doing is wrong. **** yeah they do. Just because they enjoy it, doesn't mean they should do it, or that they don't know it's wrong.

The overbearing nature of the general message that is taught by organized religion drives away so many people. I haven't been to church, a whole lot, or in along time, but I can tell you that there are some that are not filled with extremists.
It's in the bible. It's pretty cut and dry. You don't love god, you're not going to heaven. No way around it.

Is it TRULY suppose to be that way or is the Church trying to make you believe in THEIR God so you can go to THEIR church? I don't know. But those are the rules.

Doesn't matter. They're still allowed into heaven. It's in Jesus' teachings. Repent.

Repent Repent Repent, Love God and all will be forgiven. And if you don't know Christ, you can't possible have a relationship with him. That's what the entire new testimant is about. Being a good person and building your relationship with Christ.

And how can someone who has no understanding of Christian fundamentals know that that's Wrong?

What about sacrafices? The Mayans didn't think that what they were doing was wrong. They thought they were honoring their Gods.

Leave a perfectly good "Everyone knows this isn't really about religion thread" for a few hours and BAM, you come back to a kettle of heresy stew with a side order of middle finger in God's face.

Let's keep this out of DC long enough for us to laugh at those who predicted the 5.21.11 date, at least.

I actually think this thread just got a whole lot more interesting. Hasn't gotten ugly. Just people asking questions.

IMO you can only say so much about some guy who whiffed on a date in 94 now back again saying this is it.
