On another note, I've recently been given the new house rule by the wife. Can't say "reerun" any longer. Apparently she has a couple new friends who each have autistic kids and she doesn't want our daughter using "reerun" around them. I resisted, saying the word is fine and has been for 40 years. Why do I have to change my vernacular just because people decided it was insensitive. I lost the battle though. I have to try not to say it around my kid. |

Also, I have a friend who works as a para in a school district, and calls his clients his "tards." I could ask him, "How was work today?" and he would say, "Ehhh... the tards were giving me shit."
