Or Brady Quinn. List is not quite that short in reality. McCoy, Gabbert, Haney and Clausen come to mind.

Shit, how could I forget Tebow?

How, in over 125,000 posts, have you not gotten tired of trolling this forum?

Wait, He signed his Franchise tender?

I mean, I can't really explain the reputation some Chiefs fans think Bowe has earned as a goofy slack-offish yet talented WR whose only problem is he doesn't respect the game. You saw it in Chiefshrink's post.

I mentioned this before, but it's not just drops. Once again, Jerry Rice had a terrible time with drops early in his career, and he never really fixed it for good, either. It cropped up again just from the change of QB from Montana to Young. Yet Rice had integrity for the game supposedly and was the team player that Bowe isn't.

That's just a flat-out lie.

The Chiefs are my muse.

No, he didn't.

Hoover was mistaken.

My point is that attributing the perception that Bowe is lazy and undisciplined based on his race is also a flat-out lie, by Claytard, to get a reaction. Plus, it's not entirely unfounded. Bowe reports in twenty pounds overweight after running his mouth about imports? We are just a couple seasons removed from that. Who is to say that he won't get lazy after his contract? I certainly don't have enough information to make that call. Neither do you, so maybe you shouldn't pretend to.

A couple seasons is an eternity. Bowe is reformed. Completely.

And if you don't think race enters into it, you're wrong. If Bowe was white, shit, all the hillbillies in Missouri would love his ass. He'd be a legend.

Anyone who has a little bit of "gangsta thug" in them has always been given a raw deal by this fanbase.

Almost everyone showed up for that camp overweight, by the standards set by the new regime.

Perhaps the standards established by the "old regime" were inadequate. Certainly the level of discipline was. But again, we don't know.

Bowe may be reformed. But you don't know that, so stop pretending like it's a fact.

He's been hanging out with Larry Fitzgerald for three years. His coach is Romeo Crennel, a guy no black player wants to disappoint. He's not gonna regress.

The discipline and stadards were absolutely too low, and this is pretty much all Bowe knew.

When the bar was set higher, he reached that bar, and came to the realization that he could reach higher, which is why he began to work with Fitzgerald in the offseasons.

Bowe has never had a work ethic problem.

His problem was he didn't know how to work.

There are an awful lot of assumptions here.

Perhaps.

But let's look at all the stories that discuss Bowe's lack of work ethic through the years.

Oh, that's right.
There aren't any.

Has anyone with a poor work ethic ever gone through 5 years without at least a whisper of that poor work ethic?
