While I'm not crazy about hiring Cowher, I could really see Clark going after him hard.

On a financial standpoint, its a great hire because ST sales would be through the roof.

Clark is losing money every week.

Let's say Pioli stuck around?

Who the hell would he hire? Who the hell would he sign? NOBODY wants to come here. There's a reason why we had Bill ****ing Muir and Brian ****ing Daboll as our offensive coordinators the past two seasons. There's a reason why Pioli said, "Well, I mean, he's right here so I may as well give him the job..." to Romeo Crennel. He probably threw his net out there in coaching searches but came up ****ing empty!

If Pioli stays he's going to have to fire the head coach. And if he does that, I don't think he'll be able to cobble together a replacement who would want to work here.

There is no way that anyone can justify bringing him back. I don't even know how Pioli could justify it. He's just made the decision so easy.

To Babb's point: the only way the Hunts will make a lot of money is if the Chiefs win and keep the interest of the fans, the networks, and draw new fans. This isn't going to make them a lot of money. If this was making a lot of money, fire Pioli, hire a cheaper version of his incompetence, hire Rich Kotite to be your coach, and let the money roll in...
