The game was decided by 3 points. I am not a rocket scientist but I can tell you Smith didn't lose that game. He had 2 TD's and no turnovers and you have no idea what he may have done had Williams not gifted the ball back to the Giants 2x deep in their own end of the field.

All we know is what did happen. Smith may have not lost it, but he didn't win it. And that's what franchise QBs do, they win games. An Alex Smith QBed team will never go to or win a Super Bowl. He's not good enough to do so, fumbles or not.

No WE don't know this.

What we do know is SF lost because of Williams fumbles, end of story, without that they win the game 95% of the time and are in the SB. History proves that out.

They just mentioned that on XM radio and I think its been somewhere around 20 years, can't remember exactly....it's been a long time!!!!



How sad is it that saying it's been 20 years ago sounds so bad until you do the math....I'm getting old. :(
