Because he's not going to throw away millions of dollars?

There are 2 reasons that Pioli is still around.

1) Clark likes Pioli and still has faith in him.

fwiw, petro was adamant this morning on his show that he has 'sources' saying Cowher is not going to coach this year...

Cowher hasnt coached in since 2006. Gruden has yet to line up an interview. Gruden will coach again, Cowher wont

I think they are working on a settlement or because of the 3-4 lawsuits that are currently on going might be an issue.

And listening to Clark talk leads me to believe he's lost faith in Pioli. He gave him a gag order.
