It's official. Sporting was able to weather the monumental shitstorm of this season's injuries/absences and is back on top of the east.

Gonna be in kc at the end of August and plan on going to the dynamo game

Nice couple of wins. Benny after a slow start to his SKC career playing very well.

the Red on Collin was absolutely unimaginable... If you want to know why players flop and flail on the ground, acting like they just got shot when someone comes inside their bubble -> that's it right there. The Columbus player's acting won them a Red card on a play that probably wasn't even a foul.
On the flip side the second yellow on Trapp was ridiculous as well... It's really, really hard to be a fan of this league at times, when the refereeing is so monumentally bad. I mean... bad bad... like how in the **** are these guys getting paid for this shit bad. |
So did Besler and Zusi get signed and get a raise? Quick internet look up shows Besler making $91,000 last year, Zusi $100,000. Kinda sad when you are a Top Tier American soccer star, and Sporting & MLS pay you chump change.

What the union shares is only the guaranteed compensation for each player. Basically, that's their base salary and a prorated portion of a signing bonus. Any other performance-based bonuses are not counted, nor are transfer or loan fees. Also retention funds and money for designated players over the base 350k are not counted. |
Besler and Zusi are both probably making between 1 and 2 million a year now.

Any guess on the big announcement?

New SKC viewer here.
When English soccer teams play friendly matches do they play any of their usual starters? Any idea what to expect out of this game? |
