We need a guy who can consistently move the chains on 3rd and 5. Avant can do that. We haven't had that since TG left. I hope we get him.

No time to panic. Free agency makes everyone crazy. We also don't have. Bunch of cap room. Teams don't win by spending big. I'd just like to see us get a good FS, WR that can create separation and a DE that can rush the passer.

That is not literally true. He is definitely not nearly as elusive as we thought he'd be. I don't think it's true to say he's not at all elusive. He had a few plays here and there. Not enough to call him a playmaker. His value was that he surprisingly became a solid receiver before and during the catch.
