This is a really fine example of the rolling $ not carrying and then walling out the seam in C3.

Could very well be the case. What I see is Maclin recognizing the safety coming up hard to cover him as soon as he accelerates off the line, so it's Maclin's option at that point whether to run a straight out or an out and up IF the safety bites hard. The safety bit, both Maclin and Smith saw it and wha-la TD !!

I concur completely. As soon as the safety bit on Maclin it was Maclin's all the way.

Well I'm excited about Conley again.

He was streaming on Twitch pretty regularly in March and April and talked about getting other Chiefs on to stream with him before he suddenly stopped. I wonder which player or coach pulled him aside and told him to shut the shit down.

Yea, it's cool. We don't know what the exact play is. I just don't think that an offensive coordinator ever wants to have 2 wrs run routes that end up in the same place. If you do that then it only takes 1 defender in correct position to cover both wide receivers.

No doubt about it. That was the design. Watch Smith stutter before his throw, causing the safety to bite on Maclin; Smith assisted Maclin's double move.

Thus far, this team looks like last year and the season before and maybe not as good. Defense is under par and offense is about the same. If the Chiefs lose Alex, we would be fine with Foles.
