Flop should stay with one of the two candidates with the biggest disapproval ratings not getting the go.

There are plenty of candidate mods who can keep an eye on the place. We don't need 5 new overzealous mods managing this place.

I'd prefer not to lay out specific arguments against any of the current mods, as I really like all of them and don't really want to come across as being overly critical. The lack of active mods, however, was the main issue that brought all of this about.

As for Floppy, he chimed in on the discussion about the mod team six days ago, and none of us had heard from him since until now. Case in point. That's not a problem as a member, but we need mods who are going to be around in order to get some momentum around making improvements.

yeah, how come you weren't on the new list?

you've been around pretty consistently except the past few months due to rl concerns, you weren't one of the absenteer landlords and many of us deeply appreciate your efforts, good sense, relatively sane demeanor and wonderfuo sense of humor...

if we ever have a ring of honor for mods, you should be on it!! :toast:

Just speaking for myself but imho the even handed approach, unique view point, and veteran presence Flop brings would be of value even on a part time basis.
