It’s crazy how quick people started to downplay shutting down Henry after talking about how 125 yards was pretty much a given for him.

It would be one thing if he had the same total yardage, but in fewer carries for like a 9 yard per carry average. But we held him under 4 yards a carry.

An underrated part of the Chiefs defense is how smart it is. Mathieu and Clark are notorious students of the game. We’ve all heard about how Suggs brought the spiral notebook to his first film session too.

The 49ers have a “smart” rushing attack as opposed to a “power” attack. Playing smart and disciplined while maintaining an aggressive edge will be key.

Thank you for giving us the QB edge. That was a close call. I think Wilson is great, but this is playing a better version of Wilson with weapons far more dangerous. Not sure how prepared you are for Tyreek Hill and I don’t see how your secondary is going to stop our offense.

As for us, we’ve feasted on less mobile QBs all year long. I don’t think Garappolo is bad but he’s a mid-tier QB. Your best hope will be to obviously run it on us, but we’ve stopped the Dalvin Cooks of the world without too much difficulty. I don’t doubt that Shanahan is an excellent playcaller, but our DC also stymied the 18-0 Patriots en route to a SB title. So it’s not like we’re going to play some vanilla scheme that you’re going to run circles around.

For the record, I live part-time in NYC and SD, but I adore SF.

Hell, they were running at will... why pass?

I think KC will win this one 34-17. I think SF is a good team, but they're not going to light it up.

Jimmy G had only 7 games through the playoffs with more than 1 TD, throwing 4 in each of the 2 games vs AZ and another 4 in a shootout with NOS.

Wins vs Bucs, Bengals, Steelers, Browns, Rams (2X), Redskins, Panthers, Cardinals (2X), Packers (2X), Saints, SEA and MIN.

They won their division with 13 wins, so that's legit, but there was a boatload of crap teams during that stretch. I think it will be a good game until the 3rd quarter and then they lose control to KC.

This is way off topic...but I’m hoping Kafka is our future HC. He’s been with Mahomes since day 1. He’ll be our next OC. He’ll learn the ropes from Reid for the next 5-6 seasons. Reid retires with a few Super Bowl rings. Kafka takes over through the later half of Mahomes’s career.
