As far as I am concerned, Warranty should not even be an issue to this if it comes to that.

I'm referring to the idea of removing the internal battery/parts that are allegedly causing the problem. I just want the part and the directions on how to take care of it! Some people are worried about the warranty if they crack open their PS3 to try and fix it.
