The small we could overcome if we weren't the second part.

On a serious note, what happened to English? He used to be a threat.

Good game. Nearly a mirror of the first game in CoMo. One team out to a big lead, visitors close the gap, home team makes a run to finish.

I, for one, will be glad to trade Otto Porter (2012 forward from SE MO) for Justin Safford. I think he can have an impact similar to the one Mitchell was expected to for this Missouri club.

Porter isn't quite as athletic, but he's longer (and has much better grades, which is the real key, isn't it?). I can see him easily sliding into the forward rotation (and even playing some at the 3, letting Missouri go a little bigger against teams like Texas and aTm that have big, athletic 3s) and being the long, aggressive and athletic big necessary to key the press (a la Ramsey and Carroll in years past).

This team needs its 3s and 4s to be able to harass guys on the perimeter, extend the trap, and handle the ball. Only Bowers can currently do that. Not having Mitchell just castrated the team.

What are the odds that Ben McLemore ends up in Columbia?

It's just ****ing killer that Missouri produced 3 5* players this year, and not one of them is probably going to sign with MU.

I don't think the odds are very good.
