The distribution will vary from your ideal week to week because of the small sample size. It should be pretty close over the course of a season. I might try enforcing closer to the exact number next season.

I've reprogrammed a ton of stuff tonight. Now the logic would kick a FG on your first 4th down situation. On the second, the logic would still go for a first. I think that is the right call in that situation, but opinions vary. Eventually I want the owner to have input into the risk level on these decisions.

I added an onside kick function tonight. I had let that fall through the cracks earlier. Thanks for the reminder that it was missing.

Here are the major fixes for this version:

*greatly improved the penalty accept decline function
*added an onside kick function
*completely reworked and improved the spike ball and timeout functions
*improved the FG/go-for-it/punting decision making to better account for end of game situations and score differential
*improved overall game management in end of game situations
*fixed at least one of the too much yardage on a return bugs
*fixed spelling errors on "recovered"

If all the logic works as intended, you should see much better game management in critical situations in sims from this point forward.

I'm going to post three sample game logs. If a couple of people would look over them and see if there are glaring logic errors, I'd appreciate it. Most likely I can fix any new logic errors before the sims tomorrow night if you let me know of them.

Abilene is going for it on 4th down 100% of the time it looks like. Don't know if that is something you intended, but it seems like a logic error.

I'm pretty sure the reason for that is that I have Fat Elvis' "never punt" flag turned on for testing purposes, and I never turned it off.

Game 1 - End of first half:

It would seem that there was enough time to get to the line of scrimmage and attempt a throw into the end zone from 41 yards out on 4th and 5. Or even attempt a long field goal. Either way, on a 4 yard pass and down by 14, Abilene should have been trying to score at the end of the half and 21 seconds seems like it would afford enough time to run a play.
