For some reason I was looking up how much MLB teams were paying in salary, how much salary they have on the DL, etc. and I came across the Mets and Bret Saberhagen.
He has been getting $250k every year since 2004 and it runs through 2028 when he'll be 64 years old. http://www.spotrac.com/mlb/boston-re...t-saberghagen/ Just thought that was interesting and my what nice contracts these players get. |

I am not a troll nor a Mets fan. I am a casual Royals fan/die hard Chiefs fan. I absolutely do not question that the Royals can win on the road. All I am saying is many like you ignore the Royals' home record while lamenting the road record. This is not last year's team. I am just saying that if you took the blue colored glasses off for a second, you would see the Royals for likely what they should be: a .500 ballclub. Only our uncanny ability to pull games out late (especially at home) has kept this from being a fact. By the way, it is possible to be critical of the Royals and still like them.

Again. I could give a rats ass about the Mets and most all baseball to be entirely honest. As stated earlier, I have a passing interest in the Royals, but Mets insults mean absolutely nothing to me. Only truly care enough about the Chiefs and Jayhawks for any insults to mean squat to me. Do feel free to continue to try to marginalize any opinion against your beloved Royals. I should probably say this Royals team is arguably the best MLB team in the last 20-30 years that should be threatening 120 wins this year if not for the voodoo hex put on them by the devil on the road. Is this more in line with your view of the world?

The same is this season as it was last season. With Esky at the top of the lineup. If Esky scores a run the Royals this year are 17-3.
