We are currently winning around 75% of our home games, which makes many think that is just how the Royals roll, but the truth is IMO the Royals overall are closer to the road team than the home team.

STFU

I'm sorry we stormed your team in 5 games of the WS.

They've been to the World Series two years in a row. Do you really think they could do that if they had no ability to win on the road?

WhawhaWhat 06-22-2016 08:51 AM

For some reason I was looking up how much MLB teams were paying in salary, how much salary they have on the DL, etc. and I came across the Mets and Bret Saberhagen.

He has been getting $250k every year since 2004 and it runs through 2028 when he'll be 64 years old.

Just thought that was interesting and my what nice contracts these players get.

He's a moron and a troll. Just put him on ignore like me or stop responding to him.

kgrund 06-22-2016 09:03 AM

I am not a troll nor a Mets fan. I am a casual Royals fan/die hard Chiefs fan. I absolutely do not question that the Royals can win on the road. All I am saying is many like you ignore the Royals' home record while lamenting the road record. This is not last year's team. I am just saying that if you took the blue colored glasses off for a second, you would see the Royals for likely what they should be: a .500 ballclub. Only our uncanny ability to pull games out late (especially at home) has kept this from being a fact. By the way, it is possible to be critical of the Royals and still like them.

I remember what it felt like to lose a World Series. I'm so sorry the Royals hurt you.

kgrund 06-22-2016 11:24 AM

Again. I could give a rats ass about the Mets and most all baseball to be entirely honest. As stated earlier, I have a passing interest in the Royals, but Mets insults mean absolutely nothing to me. Only truly care enough about the Chiefs and Jayhawks for any insults to mean squat to me. Do feel free to continue to try to marginalize any opinion against your beloved Royals. I should probably say this Royals team is arguably the best MLB team in the last 20-30 years that should be threatening 120 wins this year if not for the voodoo hex put on them by the devil on the road. Is this more in line with your view of the world?

Yet 70% of your posts are about the Royals. GTFO.

The same is this season as it was last season. With Esky at the top of the lineup. If Esky scores a run the Royals this year are 17-3.

The last 2 years have been great, but it's also made me feel sorry for a lot of the fanbases too. We have as many WS appearances these 2 seasons as the Sux have the past 97 years. And more than the Angels have in their 56 year history.

It's just sad.

The White Sox will always have their 2005 and April 2016 titles.

Dude, I'm sorry. I didn't realize the Mets meant so much to you. These regular season wins sure impressive, though! You should be proud of your team.

He is sort of right. Losing Moose and Gordon probably hurts the road record a bit. Those 2 were capable of carrying a team on offense single handily some days. Their replacements arent bad just not game changers. Just ask Familia if he wants to face Eibner or Gordo.
