Yeah, someone should tell him his mistake wasn't the speeding part.

LMAO. I can only assume that this quotation was authored by DJ's Left Nut.

Have them grab Mazarro as long as they are heading this way.

One or two more good starts and I think you'll see him. However, Sully hasn't looked too bad so far

Davies can sure get the hell out of the way, and I have no confidence that SO'S will keep it up.

I wouldn't mind seeing:

Hochevar
Francis
Montgomery
Duffy
Mazarro

Chen has been awesome, but I might try to move him before the other shoe drops. I wouldn't be totally against trading Francis either, but I feel like we need one crafty veteran to mentor.

Demonpenz 04-25-2011 12:36 PM

Chen leads the league in quick pitches and double wind ups

eazyb81 04-25-2011 12:37 PM

Odorizzi has been dominant so far this year. I expect he will be in Arkansas by mid-summer.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the start Arguelles has had. If his velocity ticks back up as the season goes on, he could really shoot up prospect lists.

Bianchi looks like he picked up where he left off, and he's not giving way to Giavotella and Colon without a fight.

One lefty in the pen isn't enough, so Chen would fill an important role there.

I think he would have more value via trade than in the pen, especially this year. I'm sure we could throw a stopgap has-been in there for a couple of months.

Any predictions on what date Hosmer/Montgomery gets the call?

Don't you mean no earlier than June 1st? Isn't that the date that has to pass in order to keep them an extra year?
