IMO, the Argentinian Mastiff's are for hunting and the American Mastiff's are for house guarding. Looks like this Mastiff doesn't like Iowa.

Last year my BIL (a pretty big dude) had one of my daughters up on his shoulder tickling her, she was laughing and screeching. The dog just ran up and hit him with his shoulder. Knocked him on his ass. Very protective of the family.
