Maybe it's fine, but it seems like "run out the clock" mode may run a little too often. However, the running was working in this case, so maybe it's fine.

I've noticed something a few times and kept thinking it was me, but now I'm wondering if it's something in the system. Every once in a while I'll go into my game plan and it's as if a zero got knocked off an occasional "% pass" setting. For example, I just noticed that in my 1st and 11+ setting for Duluth, my 4 WR set was set to 8 percent passes when it was supposed to be 80 percent. This has happened a few times now. I'll watch to see if I see a pattern.

Yeah, I'm really sorry about that. Post 2216 is what I have done to keep this from happening again. Writing a few good admin pages would help too.

You set the run/pass balance for "run out the clock" in your game plan. Then it is a matter of rolling the dice.

There is also a "must run" mode that will automatically kick in once the game is in the bag. That may have been responsible for the last few runs.

I think people in League 1 need to check their lineups after our little snafu. I had to completely redo both of my teams.

League 2 looked fine, though.

This is good to know and is probably related to the AJAX code. As soon as you type "8" it enters "8" in the data base. Then when you type "0" it enters 80. Somehow the 0 isn't getting captured. This has to be a common AJAX problem that others have encountered. I'll look into it.

As a long term note, here is my wish list as a player, in order of priority.

1. It seems like we need to do some work on kickers, punters, and returners. As a player, I frown when I have a kicker on my roster and it says that a free agent is kicking. And on returners, why are they handled differently? It seems like I should be able to set returners in my lineup.
2. Box scores, including defensive stats.
3. Season stats and stats by game for players.
4. The nice learning experience about the minor problem today is that it shows that the bot may need some help. A depth chart that would let me control the bot would be nice, so that if I'm out of town or something gets messed up, the bot knows who I want in the lineup. Also, if I have a player injured, it would automatically boost the next player in the lineup instead of going with a street free agent.
5. Add tackle and pass defense and pressure identification for defensive players on individual plays.
6. Not sure if it's possible or even advisable, but it would be nice to get grades on players in games. How did my guard do? How did my linebacker do? As a fan, it's hard to tell if I should have Danny Watkins or Kraig Urbik starting at guard, so something to help me figure that out would be great. Perhaps this could also be a value-added feature that costs more.

On the topic of 6, it could be a game summary by player or, if you calculate this way, it could even be a click feature on each play that showed who did well and who didn't. Just a thought. It would probably be better to just get a game score.

Overall, it's looking great, though. Fantastic progress.

I agree and it will be added next season. The reason I automatically selected the kickers, punters, and receivers is that it saved about a week or more of coding time. However, it would have zero effect on game play. The only difference is 1) you don't get to pick the player and 2) a name would appear across from the same exact same stat.

I think I set the bot depth chart by number of snaps in the NFL season. I have an idea for much better way of doing that now. The bot has to work even if someone abandons the team part way through the draft, so a user set depth chart alone wouldn't help the problem.

All of this is generated now except for tackles. I have some ideas about how to assign tackles to individual plays, but it probably needs a few days of research and data analysis. Certainly doable next year. Pretty easy to display the info.

Part of that is my drafting....Part of it is every time I set my lineup, it never saves it. I've got turds and street FAs in place of starters. Example...Jeff Backus is my default LT, but Russell Okung is on the bench.

I'm not complaining because I'm not emotionally enough invested, but I'm letting you know of that issue so it can be looked at. Thanks

I've made some changes so that shouldn't happen from this point forward, as long as you check in ever 3 days or so. If it happens again, let me know.
