Good for Carroll -

I was not sure he would do well - Carroll, is a players’ coach.

quality irony

Don't really care about what he did early in the game...they had three possessions to get one field goal and he was abysmal

What we do know is SF lost because of Williams fumbles, end of story, without that they win the game 95% of the time and are in the SB. History proves that out.

Game managers don't win Super Bowls. Smith wasn't going to make the plays, and didn't make the plays necessary to win that game. He would've been good back in the early to mid-90s though lol. He's shit.

Boom.

Why anyone is arguing over Alex ****ing Smith is beyond me. He will never do anything special. He's a ****ing game manager.

Thats cool dude we can just ignore what actually happened and go with your theory.

Both Eli and Alex were terrible during the stretch of that game in all honesty

Yes he's proof you don't have to be hard ass to be a successful coach in this league. You just have to be smart and understand the game instead of searching for your next bag of Cheetos like Romeo.

You can't use 'elite' and Cassel in the same sentence.

The universe could implode.

What actually happened is Smith played like shit and didn't win the game like the game manager he is. You can't count on a QB like that, no matter how good a defense you have. Geez louise lmao

I guess maybe the point I was making is getting lost.

Not trying to say Smith is elite.

I am arguing the statement that Alex Smith could never lead a team to a SB when aside from 2 ST fumbles in an OT game in the NFCCG he would have done just that last year and was playing even better this year.

If you say he didn't lose that game then you say someone else did and therefore had that person (Williams) not ****ed up they are in the SB.

That makes my point.
