I really don't see Florida getting the #2 seed.

Florida should get the number 2 spot. Rematchs suck in college football, besides why should you be allowed to play for a national championship if you can't win your own conference.

1. Florida has played the toughest schedule in the country. Their opponent win percentage is higher than any other teams in college football. 2. Florida has scored more TDs per game than Michigan. 3. Florida averaged more offensive yards per game than Michigan. 4. Florida allowed less points per game than Michigan. 5. Florida accomplished #2-#4 while playing the toughest schedule in the country. 6. Florida won their conference championship. 7. Florida has defeated 3 ranked teams (highest being #5). Michigan has defeated 2 ranked teams (highest being #7). But, clearly, Michigan is the superior team :bong: Florida is 12-1, SEC Champs, played the most difficult schedule (10 bowl eligible teams in 13 games) and deserves to go to the National Championship game. |
Because Florida lost by 10 to a 10-2 Auburn squad, wheras Michigan lost by a field goal to #1 Ohio State.

If you're going to argue quality loss you also have to argue quality wins and Florida has Michigan beat hands down in that category. |
I don't particularly care. I'm a michigan fan, and you're a florida fan. We're never going to agree. One of us is going to get the title game and the other is going to feel screwed.
That's why we need playoffs... |

And that 6 point thrashing of Vanderbilt.....and 7 point beatdown of a shadow of old Florida State teams...... But hey, they're all in the SEC, so they must be good.... |
Being a michigan fan, it's really a matter of which game we're going to choke any way, the title game or the 3-4 game.
I do think we beat Ohio State on a neutral field, however. I just don't expect we'll get the chance. |
