Florida is 12-1, SEC Champs, played the most difficult schedule (10 bowl eligible teams in 13 games) and deserves to go to the National Championship game.

SEC fans are cute

Nice job disputing the facts.

I really don't see Florida getting the #2 seed.

Florida should get the number 2 spot. Rematchs suck in college football, besides why should you be allowed to play for a national championship if you can't win your own conference.

Yeah, because you certainly can't have two teams in one conference better than everyone else in the nation. That would be crazytalk.

Explain to me how Michigan is better than Florida.

1. Florida has played the toughest schedule in the country. Their opponent win percentage is higher than any other teams in college football.

2. Florida has scored more TDs per game than Michigan.

3. Florida averaged more offensive yards per game than Michigan.

Because Florida lost by 10 to a 10-2 Auburn squad, wheras Michigan lost by a field goal to #1 Ohio State.

If you actually watched both games, you would know that Auburn got a garbage time TD at the end of the game just as Michigan got a garbage TD at the end of their game.

If you're going to argue quality loss you also have to argue quality wins and Florida has Michigan beat hands down in that category.

I don't particularly care. I'm a michigan fan, and you're a florida fan. We're never going to agree. One of us is going to get the title game and the other is going to feel screwed.

That's why we need playoffs...

Dont forget about that miracle FG block, along with South Carolina's kicker missing 2 XP's......to win 17-16 AT HOME.

And that 6 point thrashing of Vanderbilt.....and 7 point beatdown of a shadow of old Florida State teams......

But hey, they're all in the SEC, so they must be good....

Being a michigan fan, it's really a matter of which game we're going to choke any way, the title game or the 3-4 game.

I do think we beat Ohio State on a neutral field, however. I just don't expect we'll get the chance.

If you're going to count missed kicks as made (SC's missed XP/FG) then you might as well count our misses as good too. IF that's the case, then we beat South Carolina by more than 1pt, we beat Vanderbilt by more than 6, and Florida State by 13 instead of 7.

The facts:

1. Florida has played the toughest schedule in the country. Their opponent win percentage is higher than any other teams in college football.

2. Florida has scored more TDs per game than Michigan.

3. Florida averaged more offensive yards per game than Michigan.

4. Florida allowed less points per game than Michigan.
