I do think the SEC is the deepest conference in terms of having the most quality teams. Does that mean the top teams are quite as good as the top teams in a couple of these other conferences? I don't know, I guess we'll find out.

All I know is I've seen Florida play numerous times and I don't think they are as good as about 8-9 other teams.....they only have 1 loss but that is an ugly team that makes a ton of mistakes and benefitted from the SEC being a bit down this year.

So Urban Meyer coaches Utah to a good record, then comes to Florida and in 2 years he does a pretty good job of keeping the momentum, and he now thinks he has some sort of clout to tell the NCAA what should happen?

I think it's the best conference in college football, but that doesn't mean the Big 11 doesn't have the two best teams and 9 crappy ones.

That's what CBS wants him to do they have the SEC Tv contract, if more people really believe the SEC shit it means more for their ratings.

Valid point. There are two sides of the arguement in my own view.

With the true freshman in there instead of Leak, the potentional is greater for the future, IMHO.

But then, despite how horrible Leak plays, FLA most possibly could be going to a NC game. And it does take a team effort to get to the NC.

One thing I'm more than certain that Leak won't cut it in the NFL, IMHO.

It's telling, IMO, that it's been extremely difficult for any team in the SEC to run the table, no matter how loaded they were.

They also have by far the most guys who make the next level.
