No. But I do expect to see signs of improvement from game to game. 7 games of the same ol' same ol'. At what point can we start to question his abilities? I would say now. Not bashing yet... but most definately question.

Another 3 quarter performance like we have seen these first 7 weeks screams for a QB change in quarter number 4 IMO.

Maybe. Jury is still out on that one.

The last 7 seconds with the goal cam view is the best.

THANK YOU. the only time he stopped was at the line of scrimmage, looks to me like he thought the ball was going elsewhere and slowed up then saw it was out and had to get back on his horse. he was running FULL SPEED when that ball hit his hands

For the most part Cassel won't even attempt it.

Great point.... other than the completely different offenses.

Cassel is doing what the plays dictate.

When the Chiefs went to the 2 minute offense, and Cassel could call his own plays.... he started throwing downfield.

Haley calls the games much more conservatively than Herm Edwards did.

His steps got choppy in order to not outrun that ball.

He had to slow down.

Even with the completion, this is one time in basically 7 games where he has even completed a long ball. High school QB's hit more than that with far less time on the field to develop "timing" than these guys have.

Looks to me like and out-n-up route, that is why it appears he stops at the beginning of the route. You can see the corner bite on the out because of the tendency of our offense to focus on short passes. Good play call.

He has to adjust to the ball in the air, but doesnt seem to slow down much. People were saying he had to basically stop to catch it, that is just crazy.

I wonder how they compare to Trent in his first season.

"Making shit up" is fairly common around these parts though.
Perish the thought that you could give Cassel credit for the hookup with Chambers.

It doesn't help that we seem to drop about 3 catchable passes or more a game. No one knows how their hands actually work until 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

Bowe is starting to remind me of Willie Davis with smaller ears...

I do but I don't understand the concept of throwing these guys out on the field in their rookie years like Detroit and NYJ have done. It wouldn't have killed either of those guys to sit this year, especially Stafford. But what's done is done.
You can't look at what Mark has done and not be impressed. Even with the bumps in the road, the NFL learning-curve, and the lumps he's taken, the kid absolutely refuses to roll over and wilt.
As to the rest of our 09 draft and direction of the team, you should ask Hamas to re-post his board; it'll make you ****ing cringe and bang your head at how awesome and complete it is.

You can't mentor shit. Yeah, I'm sure CP would have embraced Jeff Garcia. I seem to remember at the time nothing but non stop ridicule of Jeff Garcia. And then I'm sure Chiefs fans would have enjoyed after watching Garcia for a year or two having Baby Jesus Sanchez come in and throw his 5 Interceptions and 112 yards. And I'm sure nobody would have been critical because "He's only 22!!!". Chiefs fans are patient like that.

No no no nothing positive must ever be said about Cassel because it doesn't go along with the Mecca, OTWP,Milkman,Hamas,Dane NFL executives who speak as one voice for the Kansas City area.

Oh brother, this is getting ****ing old about Bowe. His drops are the norm among #1 WR's. They are about the same as Andre Johnson, who everybody would love to have. Bowe comes up with the play when we need him to, end of story.
