for real, **** that shit. If we keep 11, I'd have to go for Kuechly or DeCastro

Yes, I'm hearing good things about both of those players. And, they are both in positions of need.

I absolutely love Chandler Jones. Great motor, long arms, outstanding pedigree. However not at 11. If you can trade down to get him and pick up another 2nd then I'm all for it.

DeCastro.

He's one of the ones I want in a trade down scenario. Doesn't hurt to have Hali, Houston and CJ as pass rushers.

I just don't think Poe is a Pioli pick

While Pioli will reach for need he's not a workout warrior type guy imo.

Kuechly seems like a Pioli pick imo

BossChief 04-15-2012 11:30 AM

Id love to hear Romeos real thoughts on this kid.

The closer the time gets, the more this just makes sense.

I heard a bit of the interview Kuechly gave Tim and Pat on Movin the Chains. Sounds like a very bright kid, and some of the numbers they rambled off on him were impressive. Not a ton of sacks or INT's, but a ton of stops behind the line to go with a fair amount of pass breakups.

I can see us drafting him.

mcaj22 04-15-2012 11:37 AM

if we are going to draft a d-lineman I'd rather just take Devon Still

dude can be the heir to Dorsey at least

After gambling on Baldwin and Houston last year I can see Pioli going with more the sure thing this year unless Tannehill slips to us. Keuchly or DeCastro if we can't trade down and the odds are against that. I think I'd rather have DeCastro over Keuchly. We could have the youngest and best interior o line in the league. We'd be set for a long time on the interior o line.

If we draft Decastro, we better have the best offensive line in the league.

2 firsts
1 second rounder
1 third rounder
5.5 million/year for RT

Thats a lot of investment.

Yeah it seems that way. Wouldn't it be the same if we drafted Keuchly? We'd have two 1st round pick ILBs in the middle of our 3-4. Between DeCastro and Kuechly I'd go with DeCastro.
